I made it!
5) Lots and lots of pigs/goats/dogs/cats/ and cows wandering around EVERYWHERE!
6) Every time I see a goat I think of Elmer and Nicole, which is multiple times a day

11) I am staying on a compound with Uttam (the director of the school), his two brothers, their three wives, Uttam's brother's two kids Uttam's mother and father, Uttam's father's sister, 15 hostel children.

22) On the 20th and 21st 10 UD students came and helped out! After school I went with the boys and did some errands, went to an Indian department store called "Pantaloons", and a textile exhibit. We have plans to hang out when the come to Maine this August
24) INDIAN WEDDING RECEPTION. Yesterday (the 22nd) the Parijat family went to a wedding reception. One of the wives dressed me in her clothes. In the words of Iggy from NOLA, "that is so Indian, Molly"
I saw the most beautiful girl there dressed in gorgeous, blue Indian clothes. I was promptly told that she is 15 and last year she was married
26) Today, the 23rd, the school girls came to learn a dance for an upcoming festival on Feb. 4th
I promise I am going to actually write next time!

I just lost my whole first post because the internet died, so I am just going to upload photos and write about them
Here are a few snapshots from my first plus week!
1)Bags packed for India and Alaska! My Indian pack back only weighted 39lbs!
2) I finished applying for schools on the the bus to Logan (classic), but I just found out I need to do a few more things. Looks like I will be applying from India.
